Mental Health Support

Mental Health is made up of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

“A mental health problem is when the way you're thinking, feeling or acting becomes difficult for you to cope with.

We can all feel sad, worried, angry or fed up at times […] But if these feelings last a long time, like if you always feel low or can’t sleep, it might be a sign that you need more help. Mental health problems are very common. They are not a sign of weakness and can happen to anyone. People can experience mental health problems differently, too.” (Mind)

Do you need someone to talk to? Would you benefit from some mental health support to help you live a happier life?

There are a range of support tools and organisations who can help. Whether it be regular sessions with a counselor, organisations who run well-being activities, or a carer to support you to achieve your goals, there is something for everyone.

There are lots of things we can try to look after our well-being. This might include: connecting with others, relaxation techniques, spending time in nature, finding an enjoyable hobby or group, getting enough sleep or whatever works for you. Life can be challenging and well-being support can help to make it feel more manageable.
